The role
SMEC International with over 30 offices on the African continent, is seeking applications for the following positions to work in projects in the Sub-Saharan Africa.
Suitable applicants will hold:
The Senior Construction Managers shall have the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree in a technical field such as engineering, construction management / administration or equivalent related field;
- Qualified Chartered/Registered Professional Engineer or approved equivalent;
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in managing and supervising the construction of large water and wastewater infrastructure;
- Must have managed the construction at least one large infrastructure project in the past five years with a construction cost of over US$100 million;
- Excellent command of English; and
- Experience in the Sub Saharan Africa is desirable.
