Requirements:
- A PhD (or near completion) in Spanish Language/Literature
- Experience in teaching Spanish to 2nd language speakers at tertiary level
- An active research interest in Spanish language and literature (preferably published articles)
- An ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Spanish as a 2nd language from beginners to advanced level
- Engagement in on-going research and publication of the results of such research
- Academic administration
- Development of teaching materials.
The annual cost of employment, including benefits at lecturer level is R457 223.
