Lecturer: Spanish Language & Literature

Requirements:

• A PhD (or near completion) in Spanish Language/Literature
• Experience in teaching Spanish to 2^nd language speakers at tertiary level
• An active research interest in Spanish language and literature (preferably published articles)
• An ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching Spanish as a 2^nd language from beginners to advanced level
• Engagement in on-going research and publication of the results of such research
• Academic administration
• Development of teaching materials.

The annual cost of employment, including benefits at lecturer level is R457 223.
