Required skills and qualifications:
• Senior consultant with 5-10 years of international experience in child rights programming and/or management;
• Individual consultant(s) with excellent writing and analytical skills in the English language;
• In depth knowledge of international and regional child rights treaty obligations;
• Previous experience in compiling inputs for the UNCRC and African Union is an advantage;
• Good communication and writing skills in English
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Timeframe, Terms, and Conditions:-
• The contract is proposed for approximately 30 working days commencing in October/November 2013.
• UNICEF will provide transportation, logistical support, and office space (with internet connection).
• Consultant will provide laptop computer.
• The results of the research will remain the sole property of UNICEF- Sierra Leone.
• Submission to include cover letter, CV, examples of previous work, working schedule and a proposed budget, including lump sum for consulting fees, living costs and flight ticket (economy) where appropriate.
