Role Purpose Ensure the timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll. Coordinate the payroll process to ensure that salaries and incentives of employees are appropriately paid in line with the company compensation policy. Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive payroll matters. Perform general HR administration duties. Key Responsibilities • Thorough working knowledge of MS office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. • Knowledge of SAGE Accounting Software preferred. • Proficiency in the use of the Internet. • Internal customer service – ability to handle employee payroll issues. Manage and operate the payroll system in accordance with the company’s financial and human resource policies. Regularly review and ensure that payroll input forms and transactions comply with HR SOX controls (e.g. proper authorisation). Liaise with other departments to ensure timely delivery of payroll inputs. Maintain payroll files and keep them up to date and accurate. Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, whilst respecting the confidentiality of personal information. Documenting payroll queries and addressing them appropriately. Liaising with the system supplier about the payroll system administration and maintenance. Position Requirements Associates Degree in accounting, business or closely related field. 2-4 years experience in processing payroll, or any similar combination of education and experience. APPLY |
