AISI Project Manager

The Aerospace Industry Support Initiative (AISI), a programme of the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) hosted and managed by the CSIR, has a vacancy for a well-spoken person with a minimum of
3 years’ experience in project management to assist the AISI Manager in organising, implementing and controlling all relevant projects. This includes the efficient and effective management of available resources to reach the project goals on time and within budget.

Candidates must have a relevant degree or diploma in Project Management, or recognised professional project management certification with adequate experience in and knowledge of project management and other related fields of expertise (specifically engineering and aerospace would be an advantage). Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), good financial management skills and good technical acumen are also needed. A degree in Engineering, Science or Commerce would be an added advantage.
