Qualification:
Engineering or Management diploma or degree
High level technical knowledge on pumps
8 - 10 years experience in a mechanical sales environment
High level technical knowledge on pumps
8 - 10 years experience in a mechanical sales environment
Skills Required:
Direct and manage the entire internal and external Mining technical sales department.
Direct and manage all project based sales and application engineers/ coordinators within the segment.
Be responsible for Key accounts and the sales and support to these customers.
Takes responsibility for large projects within the segment.
Maintain profitability targets within the segment.
Provide high level technical support and knowledge within a knowledge transfer environment
Facilitate product training internally and to customers.
Seek to implement innovative customer satisfaction initiatives.
Develop relationships with key industry role player – i.e. Consultants & Mining Houses
To deliver the budget and target sales figures
To motivate the sales Segment to achieve annual Target Sales and KPI’s
To ensure that the sales segment maintains the relevant technical competency to support the customer’s needs
