Senior/Principal Chemical Engineer

The CSIR Materials Science and Manufacturing (MSM) unit requires a person with extensive experience (more than 10 years) in both process development and process design for its Light Metals (LM) competence area to work on specific, goal-orientated projects in the development of technologies for producing and processing titanium and aluminium alloys.

A completed Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (MEng or MSc Eng) with above-average academic record, practical hands-on work experience with process equipment, as well as process and/or equipment modelling experience and a proven record of writing scientific publications or technical reports are the minimum requirements for this role.
