Requirements:
- A degree/National Diploma in Finance or Accounting Management/Public Management
- 5-10 years' experience in finance OR a Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with more than 10 years' experience
- A valid driver's licence
- Appropriate experience in financial management, with considerable experience (at least 2-5 years) in financial management environment
- Experience in the application of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations, and the ability to use BAS

- Knowledge and understanding of the Division of Revenue Act (DORA), Generally Recognised Accounting Practices (GRAP) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

- Knowledge of the PSA, PSR, SDA, LRA, BCEA, EEA and other relevant prescripts

Duties:
- Ensure the availability of funds to enable the Sub-programme: Corporate Services to run effectively
- Set up internal controls to prevent system violation and infringements
- Monitor expenditure to ensure alignment with approved budget and cash flow projection/expenditure control
- Ensure compliance with the PFMA and Treasury Regulations
- Assist programme/budget managers in compiling and coordinating MTEF and ENE
- Assist with requests (budget/bid)
- Prepare a database of budget inputs acquired by the programme/budget managers in accordance with National Treasury prescriptions
- Prepare information for the annual financial statements according to Generally Recognised Accounting Practice
- Provide financial management support and advice
- Maintain proper accounts and financial records of the Department
- Monitor donor funding/expenditure, assets and liabilities
- Manage theft and loss control of the Department
